While residing with us, young men live within a safe and supportive atmosphere where they can begin to utilize the 12-Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous in their daily lives. Unlike traditional sober living houses, Vanderburgh House is tailored to work specifically with young men. We believe this gender-specific and peer-based support network allows men to create meaningful relationships with others they can relate to and identify with. The facility serves as a halfway point before fully returning into the real world.

How Long do you Stay in Sober Living?

The home has an open floor plan, private backyard, shaded lounge area and gym equipment. They have house managers making sure residents are abiding by the rules. The longer you are able to stay in a sober living facility, the better the odds become of maintaining sobriety. Our family therapy programs allow families to get involved in the recovery process, as well as connect with other families to build community along the way. Our structured sobriety programs, compassionate staff, supportive community and decades of experience support young men and their families at every step on their path to recovery.
